Mira Mi Mundo En El Aire

This 12' x 8' living wall along with it's counterpart,  a living sphere made of tallandsias ( air plants) combine to create this living installation. Originally created for the juried exhibition 3x2D at Montgomery College in Silver Spring, Maryland, it can now be seen at the Baltimore Conservatory. Viewers see the wall and are attracted  to the poem on the looking glass. As they approach to read it they find the living sphere in their reflection. The mirror poem by Edmundo Ortega reads: Mira mi Mundo in el aire, El Mundo que nos da aire, Mi Mundo que nos da vida, Mirate en mi Mundo --Ortega? ,,,,,,,, or translated into English: See My World in the Air , World air that gives us, My World gives us life, Look in my World  -- Ortega? The wall is currently located at the Baltimore Conservatory. Find our more about the 3x2D exhibition at MC online http://insidemc.montgomerycollege.edu/showStory.php?id=26274
